Why build with Tekton?

Tekton was born out of frustration with cheap, overpriced furniture. My dresser fell apart. My wife’s matching dresser was on its way out. After years of research and development while serving in the Navy, I decided to do something about it. We build furniture the way it used to be built — mechanical joints, hardwood, built for the life of your home and the people in it.

  • Mechanical joints — no screws holding your furniture together
  • Solid hardwood, not particle board with a wood-colored sticker
  • Fully custom — built for your space, your style, your family

Discover the Value in Creation

Custom furniture fits your space like it was always supposed to be there — because it was built for it. Every project in our portfolio was designed around a specific room, a specific family, a specific vision. No compromises, no ‘close enough.’ Just work you’ll be proud to show off for decades.

  • Built to the exact size your space demands
  • Built to the style you have in your mind’s eye
  • Built to look like it’s always been there

We’re a small operation on purpose. That means you deal with the person actually building your project from start to finish — no middlemen, no miscommunication, no surprises on delivery day. We use industry-leading joinery tools like the Leigh FMT Pro and D4R Pro to bring the precision of fine craftsmanship to every build, at a price that makes sense.

  • Clear, concise, and prompt communication — always
  • Fair pricing with no hidden costs
  • Small business feel — we take care of you because it’s the right thing to do
  • Built to last generations, not until the warranty runs out

What clients are saying about Tekton Trades!

We are extremely pleased with the pantry Tekton built for us. Replacing the corugated shelving in our pantry with maple shelves completely changed our entry hallway. It went from an eyesore with doors that could never close, to a closet that is closeable and visually appealing when we open them to get what we need.
